Background
The SPPMG was established in early 2006. The first meeting of the group took place on the 10th March 2006 at the NHS National Services Scotland Gyle Office in Edinburgh.
One of the main drivers behind setting up the Group is to get organisations from across the public sector in Scotland working together to develop best practice in programme and project management.
It is clear that many members of the group feel that the majority of workshops/groups that focus on either programme of project management are based in England. It is hoped that this group will encourage more workshops and seminars to be held across Scotland .
